Pierre and Anna will share their portrait journalistic approach to dynamic wedding photography. They will demonstrate the art of setting the stage for great moments to play out before your camera and how to create a fun filled, easy going, comfortable environment so your subject can “let go”. Additionally, how to set the pace of the day and infuse your energy and excitement into others, while establishing the trust needed to allow you to do anything!
Other topics covered:
1. Delivering less for greater impact.
2. Simple and powerful alternative lighting techniques.
3. How to slim and flatter your subject in a comfortable easy manner.
4. Learning to see the light for simple yet dramatic location imagery.
5. Setting yourself free of your tripod and flash to capture more.
6. Reception slideshow events that will blow your audience away. |
Pierre and Anna, husband and wife team, are owners of the multi-photographer studio Pierre’s Portrait Art Company which, over the past 13 years, has come to be recognized as one of the premier wedding photography studios in southern Wisconsin. They are both PPA Certified, award winning photographers whose work have been published both nationally and regionally in magazines such as Professional Photographer, Modern Bride, PDN, Wisconsin Bride and more. In 2006 they founded The Wisconsin Pro Photographers Forum as well as teaching workshops and lecturing both locally and regionally. In 2008 they were invited by Znyata (“Shot”) Photographers to do their first international presentation in Minsk, Belarus.
Despite local industry trends to the contrary, Pierre’s Portrait Art has continued to grow with record setting sales thirteen years running. Pierre and Anna’s fun filled, emotional, yet easy going style, and insightful marketing strategies have created a buzz with clients and a pressing demand for their studio’s services. They are looking forward to expanding into a new 4000 sq ft studio in August 2008.
